Day 1: Arrival Cape town

On arrival, you will be met by your our guide. Your time in Cape Town will start with a tour of the city, with your guide showing you all the most important scenic, cultural and historical sites in the inner-city

Day 2 Cape Town-Waterfront

Experience the scenic beauty and natural landscapes of South Africa’s Cape Peninsula on this full-day tour from Cape Town .Tour (08:30am till 17:30pm):, we  will visit Chapman’s Peak drive, Hout Bay, Boulders Penguin Colony and Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

Day 3 Winelands Tour

After breakfast, we leave Cape Town behind and take a 40-minute drive to the Cape Winelands.

The Cape Winelands of the Western Cape are one of the big draw cards to South Africa that manage to effortlessly combine the beauty of ripening vineyards, Cape Dutch manor homes and excellent cuisine (and of course award-winning wine) in valleys surrounded by indigo mountains.

The beautifully located towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are within easy reach of Cape Town and are some of the oldest towns in the country with a rich history and culture.

You will enjoy a guided tour of these two towns and also visit 3 top wine estates for wine tasting before we make our way back to Cape Town

Day 4: Cape Town to Victoria Falls

 

Check out after breakfast as your guide will transfer you to the airport. Board your flight from Cape Town International Airport to Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe in the heart of Africa! Day 5 Victoria Falls Safari lodge

 Guided Tour of the Falls

After breakfast you explore the falls a view of the Victoria Falls is something you will never forget and the best way to see them is on a guided tour. Discover how the Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them. These tours are extremely informative and end with a visit to the local art and crafts centre and big tree which is about 1500years old.

The Boma - Place of Eating

 This is not just another ethnic restaurant but a rather unique cultural experience. Excellent cuisine, including a variety of game meats and traditional Zimbabwean dishes accompanied by entertainment throughout your meal from traditional dancers,. Incorporates Shangaan dancers and singers and Guests are welcomed with a traditional greeting in Shona and Ndebele, the local languages. Day 6 Victoria Falls- Botswana

This morning you are transferred to the Kasane border post for immigration into Botswana where you are met and transferred to Chobe Game Lodge for three nights. Day 7 Morning Game Drive

Rise and shine for an early morning game drive, on this day we take a different route further into the National park this is for another chance to encounter the wild in one of Africa’s most spectacular National Parks on an Off the beaten track style, where not many people are seen on this part of the park. Owing to the location of Chobe Game Lodge inside the Chobe National Park, early-morning game drives set off as soon as the park opens, giving you the best chance of tracking predators while they are still active.

Afternoon Game Viewing

The afternoon drives depart the lodge in the late afternoon (the exact time is dependent on the season), only returning at park closure time after sunset, thus maximising the time you spend out in the park to enjoy those special sightings Chobe is renowned for its excellent game viewing, especially for herds of elephants which come down to the river to drink.

Day 8: Chobe Game Lodge

 Rise and shine for an early morning game drive, another chance to encounter the wild in one of Africa’s most spectacular National Parks. In this park where predators like lion, leopard and wild dog abound it is no wonder it has been called the Galapagos of Africa. Don’t forget to take with you binoculars, cameras with sufficient battery power and memory card as well as a suitable windbreaker as the vehicles are open..

Boat Cruise

No Chobe safari is complete without experiencing the beauty of the Chobe River and its incredible wildlife by boat. The river boats are specifically designed to ensure each passenger can take in the magnificent Chobe views in complete comfort from anywhere on the boat. Unlike any other water-based activity in Botswana, the game viewing while on a river safari in Chobe is unsurpassed anywhere in Botswana. Elephant line the water’s edge, hippo congregate in lagoons, hundreds of antelope and giraffe make their way to the water and sightings of predators along the river banks are common

 Day 9 Hwange National Park

After morning activity a game drive and breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and transfer back to Kasane. From here you will cross from Botswana to Zimbabwe and transfer to Hwange National Park.

On arrival, you will be picked up from the Painted Dog Centre by 4x4 vehicles for your transfer to Sable Sands Lodge. The transfer time from Chobe National Park to Hwange is approximately 5 hours but you may be delayed by animal sightings on the edge of the famous Park, on a private concession that boasts staunning views of the dried riverbed.– not to mention the prolific birdlife in the area.

  Hwange National Park is a land of contrasts from dense teak and acacia forest to vast open savannah, The eleven ‘classic’ rooms were built in 1989, nestled in the teak forest, and accommodated Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Phillip in 1991. The five modern rooms which were added later overlook the waterhole and are directly situated at the ‘Dete Vlei’

Overnight: Sable Sands    

All the rooms are traditional Zimbabwean round rural homes called ‘rondavels’, built from brick with big thatch roofs and have en-suite bathrooms

Day 10 Hwange National Park

 Morning Game drive,

Prepare for the greatest full day activity and explore the largest national park in Zimbabwe with big five game. Hwange National Park is one of the largest parks in Africa, and across these rolling plains roam the last great free ranging elephant population. You will be accompanied by our knowledgeable guides who even make it more exciting by assisting you to spot animals from afar or even the closest that you will not be seeing, if you allow yourself adequate time here you will probably see nearly all the major species: The duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours  and return to the lodge for lunch and a well-deserved siesta or dip in the swimming pool

Afternoon Game Drive      

Later on in the afternoon, the quest for animals continues as you embark on another game drive on the Private  concession, Guests will have the opportunity to see plains game such as buffalo, sable, giraffe, kudu, impala, elephant, zebra, lion and the elusive leopard. There is also a variety of birdlife in the area. Please note that the viewing of particular types of game cannot be guaranteed and depends on the luck of the day, however the game drives are informative and very interesting as they are conducted by knowledgeable and experienced guides. Day 11: Hwange National Park

You have the option to go on a game drive on the private concession, ,Alternatively visit the Painted Dog Centre a sanctuary for the famous “Painted Dogs” and learn about this endangered species  or in the morning set off for guided walks lead by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, This is one of the best places to see lion, leopard and African wild dog among the hundred or so other mammal and four hundred bird species. extensive knowledge of the park so that you can experience the true wilderness and wildlife Hwange has to offer  on foot within our private concessions.

 Massages: Sable Sands Camp

 Day 12:  Hwange-Victoria Falls
After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure before you will be transferred to the Hwange  Main Airport  for you Aircraft flight or Road Transfer  to Victoria Falls Airport  for your international flight back home, remembering all too well the amazing experience you had the last 11 days!

Arrive at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg, be met by our representative who will assist with your luggage and transfer you to the hotel.
